Both of our teams have crucial fixtures in Round 3 of the Junior championship next Sunday 17th May. After defeats in the first two rounds, our first team plays Erins Isle in JHC B away in Finglas at 11am. Hopefully all injuries will be recovered and we will have a full squad for this “must win” clash. At 3pm in Islandbridge, our second team will host Naomh Barrog in JHC E. We want to build on our second round victory over Castleknock to progress to the knock-out stages. The manager asks all players to respond promptly to requests on Teamer.
It is important that all players attend all training sessions this week, Monday and Wednesday same time (7pm on the pitch). On match day, players should be at the correct venue with 45 minutes to spare before throw in.
Off the pitch, our “night at the dogs” fundraiser will be coming up in June and there will be more about that in these notes in the weeks ahead.
