A busy week ahead for both teams with championship and league fixtures. On Wed 23rd May at 7.15 in Islandbridge our first team plays in JHC ‘A’ v Kilmacud Crokes. On Thurs 24th May also at 7.15 in Islandbridge our second team plays in JHC ‘E’ v Round Towers. On Sunday 27th May both teams have league fixtures. The first team plays in AHL6 at 11am in Grangegorman v St. Brendans while the second team plays in AHL8 at 3pm in Islandbridge v St Marks. All members are asked to respond promptly to Teamer requests to confirm their availability and to be at the correct venue in plenty of time for each game. All support is welcome at our games and grateful for any assistance with matchday tasks. Plenty of activity off the pitch as well. The Committee met last week on 16th May with the main focus on training, managing the panels, our new website and outstanding member subscriptions. Planning is underway for our now annual “Night at the Dogs” fundraiser with more details of this event in these notes in the weeks ahead. For more information on our club, see our new website at civilservicehurlingclub.ie - J.
